This book would be the first to truly consider the therapeutic impact of drug dosage forms. The book is divided into two sections. Section I ("Basic Concepts") is designed to provide an introduction to the principles fundamental to dosage form design. Section II ("Therapeutic Applications") is organized according to therapeutic categories ranging from drugs for "Respiratory Disorders" to drugs for "Women's Health." Case studies and problems will be used to help students gain a better understanding of the subject at hand and introduce them to the concept that selection of appropriate dosage form is an integral part of drug therapy.
